Chloe Rogers--6 months

Chloe Rogers is now 6 months old! Her amazing parents have asked me to do Slice of Life sessions of Chloe to capture their little punkin as she grows throughout the first year of her life. It is hard to believe this is my 3rd session with her. She loves the camera and we cannot wait until her session in the fall!

I wanted to include a little something special at the end of this post. Remember back when I shot Chloe's 3 month session and I told you there was a surprise? Well, it's time I share the news with you. Chloe is famous! Little Miss Chloe is a "Bethany baby." She was adopted from the Bethany Christian Services of East Tennessee and her parents have decided to share her story with all of those who read about Bethany. One of the photos from her newborn session is featured on a Bethany brochure locally and may be added to a national campaign!! This is an exciting thing to see my work being published. Most importantly this is great for Bethany to share in hopes that her photo may encourage others to consider adopting and making a difference in the lives of children just like Chloe.

Catherine Nanney

Catherine Nanney is now a senior at Sullivan South High School. She will be graduating in May 2010. Catherine was a joy to photograph! A VERY talented young lady. She runs cross country and track and she also plays the clarinet in the band! I am confident she will be very successful as she completes her senior year and throughout the rest of her future. Lylah Grace Pigg--Newborn Session

I must say without a doubt this has been one of my all time favorite sessions--hands down. I love my clients and all of my past sessions but this family was just the sweetest! I loved capturing the interaction between mother and baby but mostly between big sister, Ella and her new little baby sister. She was SO PROUD! I've been told that she is mommy's little helper. Fashion Friday - for the family

You may have noticed there was not a Fashion Friday post last Friday. I was also away enjoying a family vacation at the beach. Now that I have returned, this Friday I have put together a few outfit combinations for families! You can always go with classic black and white or bring some color into the palette. Make sure your whole family is comfortable and they dress for their own personal style. Don't feel as if you must dress in the same exact outfit but be sure to compliment one another. Feel free to coordinate colors. Try not to use too many different print patterns and you can't go wrong. Check out the Harmon Family session from Kristen's previous post. They did a great job with their family wardrobe!

Hacker/Bingham Wedding

Heather Hacker and Paul Bingham were married on July 11th, 2009 in Oak Ridge, TN at Heritage Fellowship Church. They were surrounded by many friends and family on their wedding day. Come to find out, the mother of the groom and my mom used to work together at an Oral Surgeon's office in Kingsport and they were good friends. We did not even know this until we showed up to photograph the wedding. What a small world?!

Heather and Paul were a terrific couple to photograph! The wedding colors were yellow with some touches of orange. Such a great citrus style for a July wedding! And the daisies -- so cute!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Paul Bingham! Your photos have now been released on Pictage for viewing. Now...enjoy your slide show!! :)

Laughlin Family

Here is another lifestyle session that my assistant, Stephanie, shot solo. I stayed in Knoxville on this weekend to shoot an engagement session so she had the priveledge of taking these adorable photos of little Abbey Grace, Hilliary, Peyton, and their precious little dog, Maggie Mei! I have to say that I am extremely jealous that I missed out on this one. What an amazingly unique and personal setting?!! The Laughlin home has such sweet Southern charm! Love these...take a look!
