Fashion Friday - for the Tots

Gragg/Whittemore Wedding--June 6, 2009

Holly Gragg and J. Whittemore were married on June 6, 2009 at Bloomingdale Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee. J and Holly are such an amazing couple. I felt honored to be a part of the journey leading up to their big day. Their engagement session and Holly’s bridal session were both so much fun! They even asked me to design a unique storybook guestbook for them that included photos from their engagement session. I must say that J. has been the most enthusiastic and involved groom that I have met so far. He helped so much to make their wedding day creative, fun, and unique. J even designed a logo that they used on various things at their wedding such as favors, programs, place cards, etc. You've seen some of those wedding details in a previous post. Now here are a few more of my favorites from that special day. Holly and J we wish you the best of luck in your future and truly hope that you will stay in touch. Enjoy your wedding slide show....

Overbay Photography 2009 & 2010 Availability

We are SO EXCITED to have received so many inquiries about our availability for the rest of this year and into next year!!

I only have TWO WEEKENDS LEFT for the rest of 2009 to shoot any lifestyle sessions that require travel outside of the Knoxville area. These dates are November 14-15 AND December 5-6. There will be three slots available each Saturday and 2 on these particular Sundays so 10 slots TOTAL. ****UPDATE: As of 8/30/09 OVERBAY PHOTOGRAPHY is officially BOOKED for 2009 sessions in the Tri-Cities. If you are interested in booking a lifestyle session in 2010 stay tuned for an announcement to be made this November regarding 2010 available dates. I look forward to working with you NEXT YEAR!

I have kept these slots available in order to accommodate the many requests I receive to shoot Christmas card/family photos each year. Any type of lifestyle session can be booked on these dates. All bookings will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Email me as soon as possible if you are interested in booking a session before the end of 2009 and are located in the Tri-Cities. Knoxville lifestyle sessions are also filling up fast so if you would like photos in 2009 please check my calendar ASAP and send me your requests. Weekday evenings are options for those booking in Knoxville--however, they are limited.

In the spotlight with Positive Approach Events & Consulting

Overbay Photography was featured on the Positive Approach Events & Consulting blog today!



Positive Approach Events & Consulting is an Event Planning Vendor for Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol, TN.

We had a wonderful experience with Brandi Woodall from Positive Approach at the Gragg/Whittemore wedding this past June in Kingsport, TN. She did an amazing job working with the bride and groom by coordinating the wedding and creating the perfect décor for the ceremony and reception on their big day!

Sometimes gymnasiums are difficult to decorate for wedding receptions but we loved how Brandi worked with what she had and brought the high ceilings down to our level by using pink, purple, and white paper lanterns. The table runners and centerpieces from Crate & Barrel were very stylish as well. Overall, great job!

Hacker/Bingham Wedding--Sneak Peek!

We had a blast shooting this wedding today! Heather Hacker and Paul Bingham were married at 2pm at Heritage Fellowship Church in Oak Ridge, TN. Congratulations to the happy couple!! We hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Charleston, SC.
